A Couple More Weeks!!!

Hi Everyone...

As you can see down below, many people have rsvp'd at this point! Kim and I had too much fun yesterday making phone calls to track people down to double check if they were coming or not. We are still waiting for replies from a few that may increase our numbers more. As of this AM...we are up to 50 people! More than half of those people are classmates, and again, we expect that number to go up.

We are going to put a reminder in the TI Sun for next week...to try and catch anyone we haven't been able to reach. There are only a few of people left....Mike Stephenson, Tammy Dickhaut, Lauren Hamilton, Dawn Davidson, Joe Parrow, Peggy Carlisle, Billy Chant. EVERYONE else has been told via Paul Hutchinson, Nate Frost, Kim D/S., or me.

We are waiting to hear back from: Candi Adams Savage, Joe and Amanda Burrows, Cindi Felder, Tad Hilts, Angela Jury, Kim McConnell, Brian Moyse, Rick Pierce, Rick Side, and Joel Zimmer.

If you have any questions...please give me a buzz at 771-0060. By the way, various people have committed to different parts of the day: school tour, pavilion, legion. Everyone on the list IS coming to at least the Legion portion. The numbers will vary at school and the picnic.

See you soon!!!!!!!!!

You have to scroll down to the February 22 post on here to RSVP if you haven't already....or just give me a call.

SUMMERTIME!!!!!

Well....Some of the RSVPs are starting to roll in now. As of this moment, we have 28 people attending including spouses and you can see who is able to attend or not on the left. If you see classmates around, PLEASE tell them to let us know if they are coming or not. I've been able to get to quite a few. I'm not sure if Tammy D., Dawn D., Peggy Carlisle, Billy Chant, Lauren Hamilton, Joe Parrow, Percilla, or Mike Stephenson have heard that we are having a reunion. I know that everyone else has heard about it even though they may not have rsvp'd yet. If you see these people please let them know OR give me a call and I will get in touch with them. Kim really needs numbers to give to Cav's.

My cell is (315) 771-0060.

Kim took care of the paperwork so we could have a tour of the school before we go to the Pavilion for a family picnic. That ought to be interesting! It has changed a lot and I haven't been in there since my brother, Steven, graduated. (He was in kindergarten when we graduated High School and just turned 26.)----so it has been a while!

Kim and I got the invites out to the faculty. You may be asking, "Why did they send invites to the faculty and not to the classmates?" The answer is two-fold...1) They are easy to find 2) Our classmates know it is our 20th if they choose to seek it out...our teachers do not. :-) I'm sure you can plan on seeing the Lavarnways and Dobbins at the very least. lol Hopefully NANA REED, our graduation speaker, will make an appearance too. Around 40 invites went out from elementary...to high school. We also invited Mr. Amato and Mr. McClennan.

We are excited that Kerri Hunneyman will be on location as our photographer. She is going to take some class shots at the school, the pavilion, and the legion. She will also do family photos and group shots. You can purchase some amazing packages from her...she has made several kinds up. The most expensive is $50...but there are a ton of pics in it. The package prices go down from there. That is a great deal! ---So if it is time for a family photo with a picturesque background...you are in luck! She will also be making a candid cd of the nighttime fun...and that will be for sale for $15. She will accept payment on reunion day...so plan ahead if you are interested.

We did create this blog, put an ad in the TI SUN, put it on ABAY.com, as well as NEWZJUNKY. We have also spread the word around like crazy and contacted many though websites such as facebook. Like I said above....I'm positive that everyone in our class has heard about this with the exception of the people mentioned above. Hopefully, people understand that this was simply more feasible with two people working on it 3 1/2 hours away from each other.

We would REALLY like around 45-50 signed up to cover the costs of the band, apps, and legion donation....so we have a little way to go. MORE IMPORTANTLY, we would just like to be all together again.

So far....the person traveling the furthest to be here for the reunion is Keith Hillemeyer! He is coming with his wife from Oklahoma! We need to get a boat to take them on a tour of the river!

Please tell the people you bump into to RSVP as soon as possible!!! Thanks for your help.

See you all soon!!!!

June 1st.....and counting!

Ok..

The advertising letters should be published by next week: TI Sun, Abay.com, and Newzjunky. Hopefully everything will go through this time. Please be aware that no formal invites are coming out to classmates. It is word of mouth, advertising in three different places, and this blog spot.

There will be an organizational meeting on Monday, July 6th to take care of last minute things: fliers/mailing to former teachers...decorations...etc. Give me a shout if you would like to attend. It will be held at a place and time TBD on the 6th.

Please spread the word to get people to RSVP as soon as possible. We need to know numbers to plan on a few things.

It's been great hearing from various people....can't wait to see everyone! It will be a good time. From this bunch, I don't think we could expect anything less!

RSVP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please RSVP.....on post prior to this one.

Hello...

I just sent some info into Newzjunky and Abay.com. Hopefully, more will find their way to this site. Either this week or next I plan on having the article in the TI Sun.

Kim Dobbins Schug is looking into a tour of the school prior to the picnic at the Pavillion. That would be cool....I did see Camp and asked him if he would be our ultimate tour guide if we get that approval. :-) He was in to it if he is in town on the 25th. I also found our very own Nana Reed on Facebook and told her to save the date. We certainly would want her to attend as she was our beloved guest speaker at graduation. I believe she will be doing her best to attend. We will work on inviting all of those teachers that we loved and harrassed to join us at the legion that evening. Speaking of teachers, on a sad note, Mrs. Houghton, Enid "Kim" Dobbins and third grade teacher for some of us, passed away this week. She was 66 and it was unexpected. Our thoughts are with her and her family. Mrs. Bower, 6th grade, also passed away earlier this year in case you hadn't heard. She was a special lady.

On a happier note....we are also looking into having a photographer take some location shots during the day of our group. --More details to follow on that.....it's not locked in yet. These would be available for you to purchase.

Dave Wolever is glad to take requests for the reunion. You can hook up to his website through the link on the left and shoot him an email. Just remember to tell him it is for the reunion in the Bay on the 25th.

If anyone out there has any suggestions or questions...please don't hesistate to give me a call. My cell is (315) 771-0060. I may not have an answer right away...but I will get it for you! Also, a large number of our classmates are on FACEBOOK. It is a great way to see what everyone is up to and there is also a group you can join for our class. Check it out!

Hope everyone out there is doing well!!! I'm going to try to add something to show you who is coming so far. The RSVPS have been hysterical to read! Drop me a note if you stop by...and read through everything on the blog if you have the time. Heather
